NICOLE TORI
Nicole Tori is a classically trained soprano and Broadway belt enthusiast. She made her international debut in the first Asian tour of The Sound of Music, performing the role of Frau Schmidt in six countries. Most recently, Nicole portrayed The Wicked Witch of the West/Miss Gulch in Westchester Broadway Theatre's production of The Wizard of Oz and Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music at Millbrook Playhouse. Other theatre credits include Sweeney Todd at Portland Center Stage, Mama in Fiddler on the Roof, and Sister Sophia in The Sound of Music at the Fox Theatre Atlanta, Wolf Trap, and the Straz Center. Nicole attended New England Conservatory of Music and Wheaton College Conservatory and began her professional singing career performing opera in NYC. Opera credits include Mother in the contemporary opera Calling: An Opera of Forgiveness at La Mama E.T.C., Musetta with NY Opera Forum and Naiade with Dell'Arte Opera. Nicole is a NY state certified music teacher and remains active as a soloist, choral ringer, and private voice instructor.
